“From the very beginning Mr. & Mrs. McMahan have been up front about the price and that was very important to my husband and I. We have met many new friends that are now family to us.

“In an attempt to get our eldest daughter to
open up a bit and gain some confidence,
my wife and I thought it a good idea to maybe see if she would take to
some martial art skills.
Our kids being half Korean naturally pointed us
in the direction of Tae Kwon Do!!! Low
and behold, yes indeed, Ingrid loved the whole concept and has completely enjoyed
all the aspects of Tae Kwon Do, including those we did not realize were part of
such an activity.
I speak of things such as the obvious benefits
of confidence, flexibility, and strength, and of the many other unforeseen
benefits such as community service, mental and physical self control, building
a better community, and "FRIENDS and FAMILY"!!!!
My whole family has benefited from our TKD
experience and from Coach Bryan and Coach Mary's leadership, compassion,
patience, and consideration!!!
As our eldest daughter progressed through the
rank and testing process, my wife and youngest daughter jumped in as well. I could plainly see
how much fun the girls were having, but I continued to be a spectator, because I
felt I would be uncomfortable out on the mat in the traditional Tae Kwon Douniform.
Well, one day the girls came over to me and
yanked me out onto the mat, and I haven't been off of it since!!!
We all love it, and have found that doing this
activity as a family has had numerous benefits, both tangible and intangible!!!
We all have something in common we can do with
each other, on and off the mat!!!
We have gained some of the best friends we have
ever known due to the fact that TKD brings us all together and puts us all in
the same proverbial "boat"!!!!
It has been great, and we just can't say enough
about TKDFit and the McMahans!!!!"
Hello from the Kerr’s
We started out by looking for a
fun activity for the kids to participate in. We found much more at TKDFit in
We hope you’ll come on out and join us.

Dear Mary and Bryan,
Hope things are going well for you both at TKDFit. We think of you often.
Just a little personal anecdote:
Brian and I just recently watched "Mr. Holland's Opus," which is a
great movie if you've never seen it. It's a wonderful true story about a
music teacher that profoundly touches many students' lives throughout his
career, and he doesn't realize the impact until he retires, and the whole
community comes to pay him tribute. When the movie ended, I asked Brian
if there were any teachers during his schooling that he could think of that had
had a profound effect on him. He said no and I added I couldn't think of
any either. Then we realized we stand corrected----it may not have been
during our childhood but you, the McMahans, are mentors that definitely have
had a profound effect on our adult lives. You both give such love and
support to your students. It just comes naturally from you. We
definitely feel you positively touch the lives of many in your community.
Thank you!! Best wishes always.
Love,
The Wehrles
Mr. and Mrs. McMahan,
We absolutely love you guys and
love your school.
It has always been worth the long
drive to and from Carrollton and TKDFit, because of
the awesome instruction that the boys receive from you both, and the general
warmth, respect and individual attention that the boys get from you also.
TKD has been such a wonderful sport
for the boys. It's been a big part of their lives and a good part.
They've had their ups and their downs, but always persevered. It taught
them how to handle failure and how to feel great with the success after
hard work. We know tkd has impacted their lives
in a very positive way that will be lasting through their lives. And you
both are just fantastic people with the gift of patience and gift of
teaching. Not everyone has that. We feel lucky to have met you at
Mr. Schmidtke's 6 years ago, and lucky to
have been able to attend your school for the past few years.
Please know that we are sad to leave
you both and wish you many blessings.
Joy Fitzgerald

Comments. Probably our favorite thing of all is when we get feedback from those who matter most, our students and their family members. Let us know how we're doing. We really do want to know. |
